Project Showcase
US Salt, Watkins Glen, NY Engineering and project management of a $30 M project for a biomass powered plant for US Salt at their Watkins Glen refinery.
Project consisted of removal of an existing B & W bubbling fluidized bed boiler from a site in Ohio and reinstallation of the boiler at Watkins Glen, with significant modifications. Work also included the design, engineering and installation of a wood storage facility with a wood silo, truck dumping, screening, hogging and conveying capability. Scope included mechanical, electrical, structural, controls and environmental engineering.
